ORDER

The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner/A2 along with another accused/A1, followed the defacto complainant in their two wheeler and dashed against the defacto complainant's two wheeler and when she fell down on the road, the pillion rider who is the main accused/A1, snatched the gold chain of the defacto complainant from her neck and they escaped from that place. Hence, the case.

2. This is the second anticipatory bail petition before this Court. The earlier anticipatory bail petition in Crl. O.P. No. 25890 of 2024 was dismissed on 06.11.2024 by Hon'ble Mr.Justice A.D.Jagadish Chandira and this anticipatory bail petition is listed before this Court pursuant to the orders passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Crl. O.P. No. 31787 of 2024 on 04.03.2025.

3. The earlier anticipatory bail petition was dismissed on the following ground: -

"6. Taking into consideration the nature of offence and the fact that the petitioner is an habitual offender against whom several similar cases are pending before the Villupuram Police, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner."

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to entertain this second anticipatory bail petition.
