ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.1046 of 2017.

mps for the Investigating Officer to conduct the investigation in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Jacob Mathew v. State of Punjab reported in 2005 AIR SCW 3685.
Under such circumstances, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
