..Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to grant recognition for B.A. B.Ed., (integrated 4 years course) of the petitioner's college with an annual intake of 100 students from the academic year 2018-19 onwards by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2018 and 13.06.2018.

The petitioner has filed this writ petitioner to direct the first respondent to grant recognition for B.A. B.Ed., (integrated 4 years course) of the petitioner's college with an annual intake of 100 students from the academic year 2018-19 onwards by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2018 and 13.06.2018.
By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2018 and 13.06.2018 on merits within the time stipulated by this Court. Having regard to the limited scope of prayer in this Writ Petition and also the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 21.05.2018 and 13.06.2018 and pass appropriate order, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
