Heard Dr.T.M.Kannan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice for the respondents.
2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for issuance of mandamus to direct the respondents to renew the licence, which was granted to the petitioner for running a Men's Beauty Parlour cum Hair Cutting Saloon.

4.It appears that there is some dispute between the petitioner and his landlord. However, it is not clear as to whether there are any cases pending between them. In any event, an application has been submitted by the petitioner for renewal of his trade licence. The respondents have received the same and the petitioner has also remitted the necessary charges. 5.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application for renewal of licence, after issuing notice to the petitioner, calling upon to appear in person, and if any documents are required from the petitioner, he may be directed to produce the same and thereafter, the first respondent shall pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law. The above direction shall be complied with by the first respondent within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
