O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the second respondent dated 07.02.2025 and for a consequential direction to the second respondent to issue certified copy of the Document No.3579 of 2024, dated 11.11.2024, registered on the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard Mr.G.Krishnakumar, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioners wanted a certified copy of the sale deed dated 07.06.2023, which was registered as Document No.3579 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent. He also paid the necessary charges. The second respondent rejected the application through the impugned proceedings on the ground that the proceedings are pending under 2/4

Section 47-A(1) of the Stamp Act. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. The issue that is involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.10981 of 2021, dated 06.07.2021. The relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

"In view of the above discussion, the impugned proceedings of the respondent dated 18.02.2021 requires interference and the same is hereby set aside. There shall be a direction to the respondent to issue certified copy of the document in pending Document No.9450/2008 dated 13.10.2008 with the necessary endorsement of the pendency of the proceedings under Section 47(A)(1) of the Act in each and every page of the certified copy of the document. The process shall be completed by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5. A similar direction can be issued in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the present writ petition is allowed. There shall be a direction to the second respondent to issue certified copy of the sale deed dated 07.06.2023 registered as Document No.3579 of 2025 with the necessary endorsement regarding the pendency of the proceedings under Section 47-A(1) of the Stamp Act in each and every page of the certified N.ANAND VENKATESH, J 3/4

gm copy of the document. This process shall be completed by the second respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
