ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 306 of IPC, in Crime No.233 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police in the case registered for abetment of suicide. The victim lady is the wife of the petitioner. The defacto complainant is the father of the victim lady. The defacto complainant stated that the petitioner herein used to harass his wife and picked quarrel with her and causing mental torture. On the date of the event, he abused her in filthy language and thrashed her black and blue, which has forced her to commit suicide. The petitioner is absconding since the death of his wife and not available for the investigation. It also appears that the petitioner herein had given a saree to the victim lady and asked her to hang herself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the material available in the First Information Report and the conduct of the petitioner who is absconding, this Court is of the view that grant of anticipatory bail will distort the investigation.Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
