O R D E R

Heard Mr.G.Thyagarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2017.

3.The case of the petitioner is that in the auction conducted by the respondent on 20.07.2017, he became a successful bidder for Room No.2, Thiru.V.Ka.Bus Stand, Thiruvallur. The allegation of the petitioner is that even after depositing the entire amount, possession was not handed over to him. Hence, he gave a representation to the respondent on 25.10.2017.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite repeated representations of the petitioner, the respondent has not considered the same. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the possession was already handed over to the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner has not paid the monthly rents, hence, the premises was sealed by the official respondent.

6. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to all the necessary parties.
