Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to survey the property admeasuring 48 cents and put boundaries stones to demarcate petitioner's property thereon comprised in Survey No.385/4A, Semmandampalayam Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District - 641 001.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 03.02.2016. The further case of the petitioner is that all the revenue records stand in his name with respect to the subject property.

3.The petitioner made a representation before the Revenue Sub Inspector seeking for survey of the property. The necessary fees was also paid. On 12.11.2020, when the revenue officials went to the sport in order to survey the property, the same was resisted by some persons and they prevented the revenue officials from carrying on with their official duties. Hence, the survey was not conducted on that day.
4.The petitioner thereafter made a representation to the respondent police seeking for police protection. Since, the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider granting police protection as and when any request is made by the revenue authorities while conducting the survey in the subject property.
6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
