ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of petitioner dated 19.12.2007 and take appropriate action for payment of Crop Insurance compensation amount to petitioner at the rate of 87.99% applicable to Valluvakudi Village, Sirkali Taluk.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

Considering the limited request of the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner by conducting enquiry after issuance of notice to the 2/4

petitioner as well as the fifth respondent and after giving them opportunity of hearing and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law in the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking compensation for his crops at the rate of 87.99% which is applicable to Valluvakudi Village, Sirkali Taluk, Sirkali within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
