ORDER

(delivered by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) Mr. A. Nagarajan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the respondent.

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 29 November 2000.

Mr. K. Alfred, the petitioner-in-person submits that despite several complaints made by him right from 1998, no action has been taken by the respondent-Chennai Corporation, till date, knowing fully well that encroachment has been made in No.110-E, Vannier Street, K.K. Nagar (W), Chennai - 600 078. Hence, the instant writ petition seeking the aforestated relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Chennai Corporation submits that all the complaints annexed in the typed set of papers will be examined and necessary action will be taken within a period of six weeks, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the alleged encroachers.

In view of the aforestated submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Chennai Corporation, it is ordered accordingly.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. Costs made easy.
