PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta No.103 issued infavour of the 4th respondent in respect of the land in Survey Nos.89/2 measuring 0.26.00 Hectares and Survey No.89/3 measuring 0.14.00 Hectares of Venkadathampatty Village, Uthagarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard.

2. In response to the petitioner's prayer seeking direction for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent, learned State counsel would submit that the petitioner has an alternative statutory remedy of filing an appeal under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983.
