Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to remove the name of 4th respondent's father namely Late. Aadhimoola Udaiyar from the UDR Patta No.742 issued by the 3rd respondent in respect of comprised Survey No.79/4-6 cents property situated at Virugavoor Revenue Village, Kallakurichi Taluk and District based on the basis of representation made on 18.12.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to remove the name of the 4th respondent's father namely Late Aadhimoola Udaiyar from the UDR Patta No.742 issued by the 3rd respondent for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner seeks to make corrections in the UDR Patta No.742 issued by the 3rd respondent in respect of the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition by removing the name of the 4th respondent's father late Aadhimoola Udaiyar. The petitioner had given a representation dated 18.12.2025 along with supporting documents in support of his representation for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered by the official respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025 is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025. 6.Since no adverse orders are passed against the 4th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with by this Court in this writ petition. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025 seeking for removal of the name of the 4th respondent's father late Aadhimoola Udaiyar from the UDR patta No.742 issued by the 3rd respondent for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
