The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the petitioner from the date of appointment i.e. 01.04.2008 in the post of Assistant Registrar as regular appointment and to absorb him with the second respondent University with effect from 01.08.2012 with all attendant benefits including increments, contributory pension scheme pension, 7th pay commission implementation and arrears etc.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has required qualification to be regularized. In this connection, the petitioner has given a representation dated 01.02.2025, and such representation is pending 2/5

with the second respondent.

4. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent would fairly submit that they will consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

5. In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
