ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from interferring with the civil dispute between the petitioners and the respondents 4 to 7 in respect of the properties situated at Survey No.174/3 consisting of Acre 0.60 in cent 34 cents and Survey No.170/3 consisting of 0.12 cents totally to an extent of 46 cents of land, Veppamchetty Village, Chenji Post, Tiruvallur Taluk and District.

2. Heard Ms.P.A.Chitramani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.N.L. Rajan, learned counsel for the respondents 4 to 7.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the complaint given by the respondents 4 to 7 against the petitioners for land grabbing has been closed by the third respondent on 23.01.2013 in view of the civil dispute pending before the Civil Court between the petitioners and the respondents 4 to 7. Since the complaint has been closed, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

4. In view of the closure of the complaint, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
