This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.197 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police to any other District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.On a reading of the complaint, it appears that Venkatesan, the accused had previous enmity with the family of Mathivanan. When this petitioner was travelling with Mathivanan, Venkatesan attempted to commit murder of Mathivanan and attacked with a pen knife. In that attack, this petitioner was seriously injured in the neck portion. It is urged by the petitioner that Venkatesan was not even arrested by the Police. Hence the petitioner is seeking for transfer of investigation. This Court directs the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police, Valangaiman, to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

supervise the investigation in Valangaiman Police Station, Crime No.197 of 2015 and after obtaining the medical opinion and recording the statement of witnesses, if it discloses the offence under Section 307 I.P.C., the same may be added.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
