Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2026 regarding issuance of necessary advice to the second respondent in entertaining registration of documents pertaining to the estate of the petitioner's deceased maternal grandfather Chinnasamy on the basis of the fraudulently obtained legal heirs certificate No.TN-720200205270 dated 14.02.2020.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to take necessary action based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2026.

2. In the aforesaid representation, the petitioner has requested the second respondent not to entertain registration of documents pertaining to the estate of the petitioner's deceased maternal grandfather Chinnsamy. 2/4

According to the petitioner, based on fraudulent legal heirship certificate dated 14.02.2020, there is a possibility that the documents may be presented before the second respondent for registration. Since the aforesaid representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the first respondent, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to them is dispensed with by this Court.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2026, if not already passed, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
