ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation made on 27.11.2024.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son died in a road accident on 11.06.2018. A case is also registered in Crime No.399 of 2018. The petitioner had made an application for the ex gratia payment of Rs.1,00,000/- as per the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Accident Relief Scheme. The said application is not considered till date.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the 2/6

application remains untraceable and if the petitioner makes a fresh representation, the same will be considered.

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) Along with a copy of this order, the petitioner shall make a fresh representation by duly enclosing the death certificate, First Information Report and all other documents;

(ii) Upon receipt of the said application, the respondent Nos.1 to 3 shall forthwith consider the same and if the petitioner is eligible for the amount, release the amount of Rs.1,00,000/-;

(iii) The above said exercise shall be carried out within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a web-copy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order; (iv) There shall be no order as to costs.
