When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending investigation in Cr.No.2 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the dispute among themselves. Consequently, the de-facto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 28.02.2018 wherein he has stated that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
dispute has been amicably settled and he has no objection to quash the complaint in Cr.No.2 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.
4.Recording the submissions made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 28.02.2018, the investigation in Cr.No.2 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent is quashed insofar as it relates to the petitioner herein is concerned. Consequently, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
