ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner was granted an assignment by virtue of proceedings by the revenue authorities on 15.10.2007 and he continues to be in possession and enjoyment of the property as absolute owner in terms of the said assignment. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though he made an application for service connection, the fifth respondent, by manipulating the records showing that she is in possession of the property, managed to get service connection in S.C.No.424 in her name and therefore, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 14.1.2015 seeking disconnection of electric service connection given to the fifth respondent and since it has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file the present writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Rajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned counsel who accepts notice for respondents 1 to 4.
4. This court, after considering the limited scope of relief sought for, without going into the merits, directs the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 14.1.2015, after putting on notice the fifth respondent and pass order as expeditiously as possible not later than a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the writ petitioner.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ssk.
