O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to transfer of the investigation in Crime No.160 of 2020, dated 31.01.2020, from the file of the 1st respondent to the Central Crime Branch at Coimbatore.

Heard Mr.C.Vairava Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is almost completed and so far, they have examined some persons and about to file a final report.

3. Under this circumstance, the change of investigation would affect the entire investigation in Crime No.160 of 2020. However, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the first respondent and also ensure that the respondent is filing the final report within time stipulated by this Court.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
