Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from resuming the lands of the petitioner, namely, the Agricultural lands measuring 1 Acre 48 Cents comprised in Survey No.61/2B, lands measuring 1 Acre and 25 Cents in Survey No.61/2C, and the lands measuring 1 Acre and 27 Cents comprised in Survey No.61/2D, all the lands situated at Kattuchellur Village, then within Thirukovilur Taluk, now in Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, made a submission that the proposal for made out installation for construction of sub-station has been dropped. Since the construction of a sub-station itself is dropped, there is no further adjudication needs to be undertaken, in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
