ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 353 and 506(i) of IPC r/w. 12 of Tamil Nadu Gaming and Police Laws Act, 1930 (Amendment 2021) in Crime No.308 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons indulged in gambling and when the respondent police attempted to secure them, the accused persons intimidated the police with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner never committed any offence as alleged by the respondent and on the basis of confession statement given by the Al, the respondent police registered false case as against the petitioner. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and reported that the petitioner is having 3 previous cases. Hence, opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. While considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court observes that the petitioner has 3 previous cases of a similar nature, which clearly demonstrates that whenever the petitioner is enlarged on bail, he misuses the liberty granted by this Court and subverts the course of justice. Therefore, he does not deserve any anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
