This writ petition is filed with a prayer to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to regularize the services of the Petitioners in the posts held by them from the date of their initial appointment in the Kottivakkam Panchayat, with all consequential and attendant benefits.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioner No.1 is no more and the LRs of the deceased petitioner are also not coming forward to prosecute this writ petition. It is also further submitted that Petitioner Nos.2 to 15 have filed another writ petition No.5451 of 2020 and batch and the relief sought for by the petitioners in this writ petition has already been granted by this Court in WP.No.5451 of 2020, accordingly writ petitioner Nos.2 to 14 are also not interested to prosecute the writ petition, thereby the subject matter of this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Mr.R.V.Dinesh Raj Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the 2nd respondent is present.
