ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation/objection submitted by the writ petitioner on 15.03.2017 and on 02.06.2017, in respect of the claim for revision of seniority in the post of Supervisor and Superintendent of Market respectively.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner was initially appointed as Assistant, in Commercial Tax Department through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, in the year 2012. Thereafter, he was selected to the post of Supervisor/Junior Superintendent in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Marketing/Agri Business Department on 05.07.2013 and posted as Supervisor in Namakkal Regulated Market, wherein, he joined in service on 05.07.2013.
3. However, there is a bar in respect of fixation of seniority of the writ petitioner in the cadre, in which, he was appointed by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. In this regard, representations were given to the respondents on 15.03.2017 and on 02.06.2017 and the same were kept pending.
4. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner dated 15.03.2017 and 02.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
5. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representations and all the relevant Government Orders along with the order passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
