ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to delete the name of the petitioner from the history sheet maintained by the 2nd respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharmapuri in his proceedings dt.31.12.2015 has ordered for the closure of the history sheet against the petitioner. Pursuant to the said proceedings, the history sheet against the petitioner in history sheet No.48/D, has also been closed by the 2nd respondent.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
