This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 65 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Madras High Court Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from today. If the cost is paid on or before 30.06.2023 and the affidavit of service is filed, this petition stands allowed and the registry is directed to number the main appeal, if it is otherwise, in order. If the cost is not paid and the affidavit of service is not filed on or before 30.06.2023 , this C.M.P. stands dismissed without any reference to this Court. Registry to print the name of Mr.J.Saravana Vel, learned counsel for the respondent at the time of admission.
