Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the respondent culminating in the impugned condition being condition No.8 in Clause 4.5A under Instructions to Bidders in Tender No.CNT/SEW/NCB/TNIPP/002/2015-16, the name of the work being

'Design, Build, Operate for 15 years (DBO) a 45 MLD capacity Tertiary Treatment Reverse Osmosis (TTRO) Plant at Koyambedu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu including supply, laying and maintenance of MS Transmission main for conveying product water to various industries situated at Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur and Oragadam', for which notice inviting tender was issued by the respondent, commencing sale of bid documents from 27.04.2015 and quash the same.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in a nature of Certiorari seeking to call for records of the respondent, Chennai Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board, relating to a work namely, Design, Build, Operate for 15 years, a 45 MLD capacity Tertiary Treatment Reverse Osmosis Plant at Koyambedu, Chennai.

2.At the time of admission of the writ petition, the writ petitioner was permitted to furnish his tender documents and to participate in the tender. It is however contended, on behalf of the respondent, that the tender had been

completed, work had been allotted to a successful bidder on 03.03.2016. The work had been completed and the plant had been commissioned on 29.11.2019.

3.In view of the above statement, nothing further survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and the same stands dismissed. No costs.
