ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- 4050 Kgs of PDS rice and 2700 Kgs of wheat were seized from A1, while the same was transported into a lorry. The confession statement of A1 has disclosed that the PDS rice were collected by A9 and A10 and on their instruction, the same has been transported clandestinely to Karnataka.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that A9 and A10, son and mother, who are habitually involved in procuring PDS rice and transporting it in bulk clandestinely to the other state.

3. The learned counsel appearing of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is 60 years old lady and she is no way connected with the crime. Further, she is ill and need medical care. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court finds that a huge quantity of PDS rice and Wheat has been clandestinely transported at the instance of this petitioner and her son cannot be taken lightly and the investigation not yet been completed and taking note of the antecedence of this petitioner, though she is alleged to be ill, this petition for bail is dismissed, directing the Jail Authority to provide medical care to the petitioner herein in consultation with the prison Doctor. -sd/- 09/03/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
