Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order issued by the 1st respondent in Letter No.11679/MC3/ 2014-3 MAWS Department dated 28.06.2014 and the consequential order issued in Letter No.3401/MC3/ 2015-2 M.A. & W.S. Department dated 30.06.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion as Chief Engineer, in the existed vacancy as on 1.5.2014 consequent to the retirement of Thiru.R.Srinivasan, with all service benefits.
