This petition is filed by the petitioner/ appellant seeking to condone the delay of 426 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

Having regard to the reasons stated in the affidavits filed in support of the petitions and on being satisfied with the same, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to Anandam Home for Senior Citizens, Anna Street, Gangai Nagar, Kallikupam, Ambattur, Chennai - 600 053 (9444953268 / 9710446131), within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall stand automatically dismissed, without any reference to this Court.
