When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the case has been referred as "mistake of fact". He further submitted that the respondent police would be able to file the final report within a period of one week.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.1405 of 2025 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
