The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.01.2024, registered for the offences under Sections, 294(b), 324,307 and 506(ii) of I.P.C seeks bail .

2. The learned Government Advocate stated that there was a proposal pending to detain the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate about the proposal to detain the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition after a period of three weeks, if necessary.
