COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. In these writ petitions, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's refund claims, as detailed below:

3. The request of the petitioner deserves consideration by the respondents on merits. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respective respondents to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Needless to state, before passing final orders, the petitioner shall be afforded an opportunity of being heard.

5. These Writ Petitions stand disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
