A.Gomathi ....Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st to 3rd Respondents herein to give appropriate and necessary protection to the property bearing survey No.42/2, 5.86, situated at Kamarajar Street, Gingee which is a street running east to west 20 feet and north to south 54 feet, named as Elangovan Street which is part and parcel of re-survey No.236/2, pursuant to decree passed in O.S.No.339 of 2006 on 27.07.2015 on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Gingee, Villupuram District thereby taking action of the complaint made by the petitioners on 22.01.2018 and 18.02.2018.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2. The petition was filed in the year 2018. By efflux of time, the cause of action that has been projected to seek for the relief of police protection, may not survive at this length of time and this Court is not inclined to grant any police protection.

3. If and when the petitioner encounters a situation wherein he requires police protection, a fresh representation can be made to the respondent police and the same shall be considered and a proper action shall be taken in accordance with law.

4. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
