ORDER
The petitioner is a professor having studied Ph.D. He termed himself as Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Psychology in PSG College of Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Civil Aerodrome (P.O), Coimbatore - 641 014. He is very much worried about the 5th respondent, Secretary of the said college. It is a pure personal issue which the petitioner has against the 5th respondent.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner himself has stated that the petitioner had raised various queries through Right to Information Act. The petitioner is worried about the rest room. He is also worried about all other facilities. In reality, however, he should be only worried about the students whom he has been appointed to teach. They must receive his knowledge. They must also get Ph.d., degree as he has. Instead of that noble object as his service, he appears to focus on the 5th respondent. The Court cannot encourage such litigations.
3.Insofar as the present writ petition is concerned, it is in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a restraint against the 5th respondent from parallelly functioning self - financing courses in aided campus. The petitioner had given a representation on 30.01.2023. The locus of the petitioner itself is questionable. It would be extremely appreciable if he works to bestow his knowledge to the students. The parents of the students would expect that the children who join that particular college gain knowledge. They may not appreciate if an Assistant Professor files a writ petition before this Court. This is extremely unbecoming of any professor in any college.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent, also states that the petitioner has been removed from service. That is an issue between the petitioner and the 5th respondent. 5.With the above observations, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
