Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.No.505/35, in patta No.685, Kudumbalur Village, Perambalur District and consequently, direct the second respondent to issue joint patta as per Sale Deed dated 16.03.1908 and FMB Sketch by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2018 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.No.505/35, in patta No.685, Kudumbalur Village, Perambalur District and consequently, direct the second respondent to issue joint patta as per Sale Deed dated 16.03.1908 and FMB Sketch by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2018 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that the petitioner has not yet paid the necessary charges and also submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 27.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the second respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4. The petitioner is now required to pay the necessary charges within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Tahsildar shall hold an enquiry as proposed by him on 27.05.2021 at 11.00 p.m. at the Tahsildar office, by issuing notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter (after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021).

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
