Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the proposal sent by the Director of Fisheries to the Government to regulate the shrimp/prawn farming culture in the Thiruvallore District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2020 on merits and in accordance with law. For Petitioner :

Ms.C.Meena Arumugam, Additional Government Pleader.

For Respondent-2 :

O R D E R

With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, this Court has already passed detailed order, directing the Fisheries Department to remove the illegal aqua culture and to regulate the shrimp/ prawn farming culture in Thiruvallore District. A direction was issued to

question the illegal aqua culture farms in violation of aqua culture.

2. In view of the said direction passed in WP Nos.29144 and 29152 of 2018 dated 29.01.2024, no further orders are required in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
