The petitioner/accused in Crime No.7 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of IPC seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that the petitioner has filed Crl.OP.No.4624 of 2024 and in Crl.MP.No.3380 of 2024, the learned Single Judge of this Court had granted interim stay of investigation pending disposal of aforementioned Criminal Original petition. This order was granted on 28.02.2024.

3. In view of that particular fact, since there is no immediate threat or apprehension of arrest, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
