ORDER

Earlier, the petitioner has filed a Crl.O.P.No.19007 of 2021 seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider his representation, dated 15.09.2021 with regard to removal of his name from the History Sheet

No.03/J4PS/HS/2015.

2. In the above said Criminal Original Petition, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation given by the petitioner was received and it was being processed.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate , this Court by an order dated 21.10.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.19007 of 2021, directed the respondent herein to pass suitable order on the petitioner's representation within a period of two months. Since the order has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, on 05.04.2022, the respondent has sent a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore. Thereafter, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore, had permitted the 4th respondent to remove the name of the petitioner from the History Sheet list and now the name of the petitioner is removed from the History Sheet No. 03/JFPS/HS/2015 maintained by the respondent police station and the same was also informed to the counsel for the petitioner and

hence, the order passed by this Court has been complied with.

5. Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed, as no further adjudication is required in this petition.
