2.Writ Petition No.4783 of 2022 has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to prevent the second respondent from obstructing and causing any hindrance to the Petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property measuring an extent of 892.5 sq. ft. being the Southern Portion of Plot No.3, presently Narayanan Street, previously called as Pasumpon Cross Street in Orgadam Village, comprised in Old S.No.57/3, presently S.Nos.57/3B2 as per patta No.3914 in Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District. 3.Writ Petition No.4786 of 2022 has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to prevent the second respondent from obstructing and causing any hindrance to the Petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property measuring an extent of 1200 sq. ft. of Plot No.A, presently Narayanan Street, previously called as Pasumpon Cross Street in Orgadam Village, comprised in Old S.No.57/3, presently S.Nos.57/3A1A as per patta No.722 in Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District.
4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st Respondent would submit that there appears to be a dispute pending between the Petitioner's predecessor in title and the 2nd Respondent with regard to the properties concerned. He would further submit that it is beyond the jurisdiction of the first respondent to venture into a civil dispute between the parties. However, in the event of breach of peace or infraction of law and order, the first respondent will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action.
5.Recording the same, these Petitions are disposed of, with a direction to the Respondent police to complete the enquiry within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
