This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.3 of 2016, dated 03.01.2016 pending investigation on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the Petitioner's complaint dated 03.01.2016 an FIR has been registered in Crime No.3 of 2016 and final report has been filed before Judicial Magistrate II, Kancheepuram on 04.01.2016 and the same has been closed as "mistake of fact".

3. In view of the above submission, the prayer sought for by the petitioner as become infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
