The petitioner is the sole accused in S.C.No.70 of 2015 on the file of the I Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeks bail. 2.Originally, this FIR has been registered for the offences under Sections 394 r/w 397 IPC.

3.The petitioner absconded from judicial process necessitating Non Bailable Warrant to be issued on 22.06.2015 and the petitioner was secured only on 25.09.2023 after more than 8 years. 4.The very fact that the petitioner had been absconding for 8 years shows that there is every possibility of him absconding once again if the application seeking bail is considered.

5.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 6.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is incarcerated at Central Prison, Salem and for every hearing date, he has to be produced to Chennai.

vkr 7.The respondent may after going through the normal process, explore the possibility of recommending shifting the petitioner to the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.
