O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 30.10.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta for the total extent of 0.72 sq.mts.

2. Heard Mr.M.Sasikumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court and filed W.P.No.6663 of 2023 seeking for a direction to the Tahsildar to act upon the application and issue patta in favour of the petitioner. Pursuant to the 2/4

same, the patta is said to have been issued for 0.50 sq.mts. In view of the same, the petitioner made a representation and based on the same, a survey was conducted by the revenue inspector and the revenue inspector, through communication dated 10.09.2022, has informed the Tahsildar that the total extent is 0.72 sq.mts. In spite of the report submitted by the Revenue Inspector, there was no further progress and it is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the third respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. The third respondent shall deal with the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation from the petitioner.
