O R D E R

This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 16.12.2025 in Crl.O.P. NO. 34192 of 2025.

The petitioner/accused No.1 in Crime No. 502 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police registered for the offences under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS and Sections 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 had earlier filed Crl.O.P. No. 34192 of 2025 seeking a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Mayiladuthurai to consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender and this Court, by order dated 16.12.2025, directed the Court concerned to consider the bail petition of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender and further directed the petitioner to surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. However, the petitioner did not surrender

within the time stipulated by this Court in the order dated 16.12.2025. Hence, the present petition.

The petitioner is granted two weeks' time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted.
