O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, who is seeking for an incentive increment for acquiring the qualification of B.Ed. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that she was initially appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in Elementary Education in the year 1988. Thereafter, he was promoted as Primary School Head Master in the year 2005. The petitioner was also further promoted as a Middle School Head Master in the year 2010. In the meantime, the petitioner had completed the B.Ed degree in the year 2015. The petitioner is claiming for an incentive increment based on G.O.Ms.No.107, dated 20.01.1976. made a representation in this regard to the respondents on 23.01.2020. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 23.01.2020 and deal with the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with copy of earlier representation dated 23.01.2020 and also a copy of this order. 4.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
