The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.89 of 2013, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint given by one D.Sivashanmugam, a case was registered as against the petitioners in Crime No.544 of 2011. In the said case, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, Dharmapuri District, and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.89 of 2013. Though the occurrence is of the year 2011, till date, there is no progress in the trial. Hence, the petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, Dharmapuri District, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.89 of 2013 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. -s/dAssistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar sri To 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Palacode.
