ORDER
This petition has been filed for a writ of prohibition, to prohibit the respondent Indian Oil Corporation from laying pipe in the petitioner's land bearing S.Nos.144 and 145 of Vengidangal Village, Kilvelu Taluk, Nagapattinam District.
2.The learned counsel for the 1st and 2nd respondents submits that this writ petition has become infructuous, as the pipe has already been laid on the land and therefore nothing further survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his remedy for compensation if any in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
