O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.32531 of 2012 dated 24.02.2015.

2.This Court by an order dated 20.07.2015, directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to serve notice on the Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank. Accordingly, Mr.O.S.Karthikeyan, learned counsel entered appearance on behalf of the respondent/ contemnor and

submitted that the following documents are required to be produced by the petitioner to expect the respondent Bank to sanction the loan:

1.Educational loan Application 2.Assets and liability details of borrower/ co-applicant/guarantor 3.X Std., XII Std Mark Sheets.

4.B.Tech course Mark Sheets and course completed certificate 5.Fee paid receipts of the college.

6.KYC documents for applicant, Co-applicant and guarantor 7.Transfer certificate 8.Allotment letter 9.Pan-Card for both applicant and co-applicant 10.Income Certificate 11.Caste Certificate 12.Nativity certificate.

3.The petitioner on the last hearing undertook to comply with the requirements mentioned by the Bank. However, it is stated that since the Mark Sheets are not readily available, seeks further time. Mr.D.M.Arumugam, Branch Manager of the respondent Bank is present in Court and submits that if the aforesaid documents are furnished by the petitioner, the loan will be sanctioned to the petitioner, within two days.

4.The petitioner undertook to produce documents in Sl.Nos. 1 to 8 and 10 to 12. In so far as Sl.No.3 viz. mark sheets of X std and XII std. is concerned, the petitioner undertook to produce the certified true copies of the same, since the originals have been handed over to the College where she is pursuing her B.Tech course. So far as Pan Card is concerned, it is submitted by the

learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being a student, does not have the same, but, will produce the Ration Card and also undertakes instruct the petitioner to apply for the Pan Card and produce the same before the respondent Bank, after securing the same.

5.The Branch Manager is agreeable to sanction the loan if all the documents as mentioned above are produced in the manner set out in the preceding paragraph.

6.Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to produce the documents on the above terms and within a period of one week from the submission of those documents, the respondent Bank shall sanction the admissible educational loan as per their scheme, as undertaken before this Court.
