Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation has submitted that the order of this Court made in W.P.No.10226 of 2021, dated 04.04.2022 has

D.KRISHNAKUMAR. J ak been complied with by the respondent-Corporation vide proceedings dated 16.04.2024 granting 4% interest for the difference amount already paid to the petitioner. The learned standing counsel has placed a copy of the proceedings dated 16.04.204 before this Court.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation, the contempt petition stands closed. Since it is contended by the petitioner that he is eligible for 6% interest, it is open to the petitioner to seek remedy in the manner known to law.
