By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be in possession of the land admeasuring 23 cents in Survey No.72/7A and 1 acre and 46 cents in Survey No.109/4A with patta Nos.83 and 7 respectively situate at Nagar Mannarkudi Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District and he submitted an application alongwith necessary fee to the second respondent to survey the above properties and since, no action has been taken on his representation, he came forward to file the present writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Deivasigamani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This court, after considering the limited scope of relief sought for, without going into the merits, directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 19.1.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the writ petitioner.
